100% of the profits from the first annual Litchfield TriathLOU on September 25th will be donated to The Simple Room. We encourage you to support The Simple Room by participating in this event. The race will be held at the beautiful Lake Lou Yaeger in Litchfield, IL. Events will include a 1/4 mile swim, a 13 miles bike course, and a 3.1 mile run. Click here, for additional race information and online registration. The race is being produced by Racemaker Productions and sponsored by the Litchfield Tourism Program.

Racemaker Productions was founded by our director, Lee O'Connor, and his wife, Jamie, in response to the need for creative sources of funding for The Simple Room. Launching a race management and production business allowed Lee and Jamie to combine their desire to support The Simple Room with their passion for endurance racing and promoting fitness in our community. They aim to produce professional level events for athletes of all abilities, in an effort to encourage folks from all over our community to get active in fitness and service. It is also their hope that Racemakers Productions may create more employment and volunteer opportunities in Greenville.
