Ministerial Philosophy

Based upon loved defined as "a deep desire to promote the well-being of others", we believe that ministry is "the giving of one's self for the purpose of helping others." Everything we do is designed to fulfill our mission to minister to all of the needs a person may have through love and respect; therefore, love becomes apparent in every activity: bible studies, ball games, parties, trips, service projects, personal talks, even discipline.

We teach that each person deserved honor and respect because all are made in the image of God. Thus, all are welcome to participate in our programs as long as they conduct themselves in a decent respectful, and cooperative manner. Our clientele understand that attendance at the Simple Room is a privilege, not a right, and that they must conduct themselves with this principle in mind and respect others, the Simple Room, and themselves. Failure to do so may result in loss of privileges.
